Choosing the method
A tilt-and-slide is the default for most accident-damaged cars: the bed lowers to the road, so the vehicle is loaded with as little further stress on the suspension and bodywork as possible. It needs a clear run of road behind the vehicle to do it, which is the usual limiting factor in London.
A Hiab lifts rather than pulls. That is what you need when a vehicle cannot be rolled or winched at all — badly damaged, on its side, wheels seized, or parked in a position nothing can be reversed up to. It is also often the answer in tight spaces where a lift straight up is possible when a pull is not.
Enclosed transport is for motorcycles, low vehicles, high-value vehicles and anything that should not spend an hour exposed to weather and road debris. A van suits motorcycles and smaller jobs, and gets into places nothing else will.
