Answers here describe what we can arrange and assist with. What any particular insurer decides, and what is recoverable in your case, depends on the circumstances of your claim.

What should I do immediately after an accident?
Make sure everyone is safe and call the emergency services if anyone is injured or the road is blocked. Exchange details with the other driver where it is safe to do so, and photograph the vehicles, the damage and the scene if you can. Then contact us and we will talk you through what happens next.
Can ASR recover my vehicle?
Yes. We arrange nationwide recovery and select the appropriate method for your vehicle and the circumstances, including Hiab, tilt-and-slide, enclosed transport and van recovery.
Do you recover motorcycles?
Yes. Our team works across both cars and motorcycles, and we can arrange enclosed transport where that is the more suitable option for the machine.
Where will my vehicle be stored?
We arrange secure storage while your vehicle is assessed and your claim progresses. We will confirm the arrangements with you at the time so you always know where your vehicle is.
Can I get a replacement vehicle?
In many cases a replacement or hire vehicle can be arranged, subject to the circumstances of your claim, your eligibility and vehicle availability. Tell us what you need and we will let you know what is possible.
How quickly can a replacement vehicle be arranged?
We aim to arrange a suitable replacement within 24 hours of initial contact where circumstances, availability and eligibility allow. This is a target we work to rather than a guarantee.
Can ASR repair my vehicle?
Yes. Our team has over 25 years of combined bodyshop experience, including main-dealer experience, covering accident damage assessment, body repair, paint, mechanical repair and diagnostics.
Can ASR help following a non-fault accident?
Yes. Non-fault accidents are a large part of what we handle. We can coordinate recovery, storage, replacement transport and repair, and assist with the administration of your claim.
Can accident-related costs be recovered?
Some costs may be recoverable as part of an eligible claim, depending on the circumstances — this can include storage, repair and other accident-related losses. We can assist with pursuing these, but whether any particular cost is recovered is determined by the circumstances of the claim and the relevant insurer.
What information do I need to start a claim?
Your contact details, your vehicle make, model and registration, your insurance company, and the date, time and location of the incident. Photographs help but are not essential to get started — if you do not have everything to hand, call us and we will begin with what you have.
